The United States of China LED lighting recall

In July 15, 2014, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Halco company jointly announced on the implementation of the voluntary recall of LED China bulb.

The recalled product name is PrOLED bulbs, is a security guarantee for outdoor LED lighting, a white metal conical shell products, 14 watt or 18 Watt, including PAR30 and PAR38 models. The following is the recall of product information:

The product since June 2009 -2014 year in March in the United States lamps retail store sales, the price is about $20-100.

The recalled products sold in the United States the number is about 9500. Recall the reasons: LED bulb can overheat, falling, danger and burn injured consumers. As of now, Halco company has received 5 LED bulb off from the socket on the report of the accident, but the accident caused no casualties.

To this end, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) advised consumers to immediately stop using the product, the lamp will remove from a fixed position, and contact with Halco company, free replacement LED bulb.
