The United States to China produced LED bulbs recall

July 15, 2014, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Halco jointly announced the voluntary recall of Chinese made LED bulbs.

The recall of the product name is PrOLED bulbs, is a LED lamp for outdoor security, there is a silver white metal conical shell, the product 14 watts or 18 watts, including models with PAR30 and PAR38. The following is the recall of product information:

The product since June 2009 -2014 in the United States in the United States retail sales of lamps and lanterns, priced at about $20-100.

The recalled products sold in the United States is about 9500. Recall the reasons: LED bulb can overheat, falling, danger and burn injured consumers. Up to now, Halco has received 5 reports from the LED lamp bulb off the accident report, but did not cause casualties.

To this end, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers stop using the product immediately, remove the bulb from a fixed position, and contact with Halco, free replacement of LED bulbs.
