The import tariff of these 11 kinds of lighting appliances will be reduced, and it will be implemented in July 1st.

In May 30th, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council convened a standing meeting of the State Council, which decided to reduce the import tariff of daily consumer goods. Further reducing the import tariff of daily consumer goods is conducive to expanding the opening and meeting the needs of the masses, forcing the products to improve and upgrade their industries.

In May 31st, the State Council Tariff Committee issued a bulletin on reducing the import tariff of daily consumer goods (Bulletin of Tax Commission (2018) No. 4). The announcement pointed out that in order to further meet the needs of the people's better life, promote the structural reform of the supply side, expand opening up actively, and reduce some import since July 1, 2018. The MFN tax rate of daily consumer goods involves 1449 tax items.

The import tariff adjustment includes 11 types of lighting products, with an average decrease of about 50%. The following table shows:
