The next Internet of things "strategic highland" is an intelligent street lamp?

What's happening in the recent smart lighting industry is that HUAWEI has recently released its first multilevel intelligent control lighting network solution at CeBIT 2016, the world's largest ICT technology exhibition. HUAWEI is used as a cutting entrance in the city street lighting industry, which is strong in the field of intelligent lighting. At the same time, ZTE also announced the "BluePillar" smart street lamp scheme as an important location for its smart city strategy. In addition, CISCO and CREE have reached a strategic cooperation on urban intelligent lighting. Both sides combine their own lighting technology with Ethernet technology to jointly promote the intelligent lighting market. Several industry giants have stirred a pool of smart lighting, and they are almost unanimous in not choosing a hot smart home for intelligent lighting, but the first layout of intelligent street lighting in a smart city. Does this mean that the wind of the Internet of things has changed, intelligent lighting can not work in the family, or the market and technology of urban intelligent lighting have become mature? What is the current situation of intelligent street lighting? Energy saving and energy saving is still a killer of street lamps in the intelligent path of urban street lights, and energy saving and energy saving is very tempting. The huge energy consumption of urban street lights is really a headache, for example, London's street lighting is up to about 56000000 degrees a year. HUAWEI's smart street lamp scheme is the killer, claiming that the replacement of HUAWEI is about 80% more than the original power saving. At first glance, HUAWEI's smart street lamp scheme has an amazing energy saving effect, but for people in the industry, the 80% is not so amazing. Because of this, 50%-60% is the effect of changing the traditional high voltage sodium lamp (power 400W) into a more energy-efficient LED bulb (power 150W). However, aside from the replacement of the light source, intelligent street lamps do have a force for the power saving in the management optimization of the urban street light system. First, the intelligent street lamp system will calculate the sunrise and sunset time based on the local latitude and longitude, adjust the switch light time dynamically in different seasons, months and even every day, so that not only the electricity saving will be more convenient, but the infrared sensor, radar or camera will be installed on the street lamp to measure the real time car. Flow, human flow data, and on this basis automatically reduce the brightness of street lights, or interval lights. However, Liu Hongbin, the technical director of the supply chain of Shandong Smart Life Data Systems Limited, said: "the scheme is not mature at the moment and the accuracy is not very high, only in the suburbs where the traffic is very small. With the current more popular interval lighting function as an example, when the accuracy is not too high, the interval between the lights may cause the light dead angle, and there is a hidden danger of driving safety. Centralized management has been out! Since the development trend of distributed management is mentioned since the street lamp is controlled by intelligent means to save energy and save electricity, the communication architecture of the whole control system of the street lamp is discussed below. At present, the intelligent street lamp system is usually equipped with a gateway in the range of every kilometre. Dozens of street lamps in the range are connected to the gateway using ZigBee, PLC, 433 and other communication methods, and the gateway is transmitted to the cloud through 3G and 4G. In addition, HUAWEI's intelligent street lighting scheme uses 6LoWPAN technology based on IPv6 for the first time to accomplish the communication of street lamps. It has the characteristics of low power, ad hoc network and quick cure. It is reported that the new generation of ZigBee smart grid standards SEP2.0 has adopted 6LoWPAN technology, with the deployment of the United States Smart Grid, the future will be fully replaced by the ZigBee standard. It can be seen that 6LoWPAN will become the mainstream communication mode of future intelligent street lamps. Picture: the intelligent street lamp based on ZigBee communication protocol is based on the intelligent control of switch and light modulation based on the communication architecture mentioned above. The traditional street lamp generally adopts a centralized control method, and only a controller is installed on the gateway. At ordinary times to control the lights switch, adjust the brightness and other operations to pass through the gateway, once the gateway problems or break the network, street lights will not be controlled, many street lights in the daytime "and Japan" phenomenon is common. In view of this, intelligent street lamps will install intelligent local controllers on each street lamp, and write some simple control instructions in advance so that every street lamp can still work normally. More importantly, the city street lamp managers can manage and distribute each street lamp after each street lamp is installed with the controller and the monitoring module. Not only the status of street lamps, installation location, power consumption and other information at a glance, when the street lights fail, the system will automatically send out notifications and administrators send people to repair it in time. This management mode changes the situation of manual inspection in the past, that is, saving manpower costs and improving management efficiency. Intelligent street lamps will produce a new business model, and the new industry chain to participate in intelligent street lamps is obvious to the benefits of street lamps. However, the city street lights in our country are still based on the traditional non intelligent sodium lamp, and the resistance of intelligent transformation is not small. "First, the cost of LED street lights is high: if you want to save energy, you need to change all the sodium lamps to LED lights, and the cost of a LED street lamp is more than 1000 yuan. Secondly, the construction speed of the intelligent upgrading is slow and the cost is high: if the sodium lamp is intellectualized, it is necessary to add a controller on each street lamp. It only takes more than a week to change the city, and it takes a few months to transform the sodium lamp into a LED lamp. Finally, although considerable progress has been made, the LED lamps used by street lamps are still somewhat defective: for example, the penetration is not strong enough, and the haze weather is difficult to illuminate; the scattering capacity is worse than the sodium lamp, and the range of the radiation is small. Liu Hongbin said. Although the intellectual resistance is not small, the government's determination is not small. At present, there are 95% cities above the provincial level, 76% of the cities above the level, and about more than 500 cities have proposed to build a smart city. However, the intelligent city is still in the initial stage, and the system construction is too complex, and the city intelligent street lamp project is undoubtedly the best place to fall. With the strong support of government related policies and the transformation of the LED industry, urban intelligent street lamps will be further developed. In the near future, street lamps have become the carrier of intelligent city and intelligent traffic on the basis of intelligence, and then play more role. First, a variety of equipment will be added to the street lamp. For example, a street lamp has an electronic display to provide convenient information and for advertising operations; install a camera to monitor the status of the road, a button on a street lamp, and so on. Second, become an environmental weather station. In the intelligent gateway, PM2.5, temperature and humidity sensors are added to the intelligent gateway, and the comprehensive information of the local weather, environment and other cities is broadcast on the display screen. Third, laying fiber in the road lamp bottom line, making the street light become WiFi base station, realizing the hot coverage of the whole city WiFi. It can be seen that the urban street lights, in addition to energy saving and all kinds of intelligent control, are no longer the road lampposts in the future, but are part of the intelligent city lighting and even the intelligent city. This will involve a huge industrial chain. Chips, sensors, LED lighting, communication modules, and cloud platforms all have huge market opportunities. The strong entry of HUAWEI, ZTE and CISCO will not be difficult to understand.
