According to reports, the "ten city lights" LED application demonstration project, is a proposed by the State Ministry of science and technology plan by LED in the municipal lighting demonstration project for the carrier, more than 10 city, each city to promote the application of LED function (lighting lights, tunnel lights, subway (light rail), refueling station, underground parking lot etc.) 10 thousand or more lights.

According to the plan, Xiamen in the next two years, the promotion of 30 thousand sets or above LED municipal lighting, to achieve annual saving of about 7 million degrees, the corresponding CO2, SO2, NOx decrease, dust emissions 9000 tons.
