The sale of GE lighting business: new progress of surplus of about 50 companies interested in, except Rawlinson

According to foreign media quoted sources said, there are about 50 companies to sell the remaining part of the GE lighting expressed initial interest, the second quarter, GE will be key, and potential customer talks, and plans to accept a bid in the third quarter. GE said the plan will complete the transaction in the fourth quarter.

The remaining business will be packaged for sale: including GE lighting, Current, and GE acquired Melbourne's new building automation company Daintree Networks. GE hopes the transaction price of $1 billion, but there are also heard rumors that the price should be between 400 million to 600 million U.S. dollars. Some people said that the enterprises over the past few years would be worth $1 billion, but not today.

In addition, earlier media reports, Linsen and FSL have been in the bank and about financing for possible asset purchases, but M.L.S. has publicly denied they are interested. Now, our already owns 100% of LEDVANCE, apparently, is unlikely to have a company with GE lighting and LEDVANCE.
