The zebra will shine? Taiwan New Taipei City LED pilot lamp

In order to improve the pedestrian crossing traffic safety at night, Taiwan New Taipei City were installed induction on pedestrians two locations of the LED lamp, remind the passing vehicles to slow down.

These two locations were Xindian station to Bitan scenic zebra, and Xin Fu Lu Banqiao District Public Plaza parking lot. Department of transportation endinstalls LED lights in the zebra in the night or rainy days, poor sight, automatically sensing the flashing light, to remind the passing vehicles to slow down; and in the parking lot entrance is provided with an infrared induction type LED lamp, when the vehicle passes, LED lights remind drivers slow down, first comity pedestrians.

New Taipei city traffic bureau said, after observation, set the two pilot sites LED lights, passing vehicles will reach full speed, warning effect, the follow-up will be extended to other public parking lot entrance, night vision or bad road.
