To reduce the brightness of LED street lights at night, the UK saves two of carbon and carbon emissions.

Hart, UK, in the north of London, will begin to adjust the brightness of street lights and save more. In the past year, Hart has been saving a lot of expenses. Now the government has also thought of a new way to save money by reducing the brightness of LED street lights at night.

The first test plan to reduce brightness and reduce the number of street lights will run with the launch of LED street lights. The plan is aimed at reducing lighting intensity and reducing street lighting during night time. The existing street lamps have been lowered to 25% brightness at 11 o'clock in the night and 6 in the morning.

LED street lamps not only save energy and reduce carbon consumption than traditional high-pressure sodium lamps, but also help the government achieve the goal of carbon tax. Reducing the brightness of street lamps will reduce energy consumption by 25%, reduce the number of minutes per day, and save about 92 hours of lighting every year.

Plans to adjust brightness and reduce operating time will be tested in several local communities and assess the response of local residents.

A two-way test will also be conducted in February 2016 to allow local people, residents and police to conduct group meetings. The County Council is also eager to understand the response of residents to this policy.

The test is expected to start between January 2016 and February 2016, synchronizing the on-site and remote street dimming assessment for one year. After the test results are released, the Highways Cabinet Panels will be presented and the relevant results will be informed.
