Working principle

The LUNALUXX desk lamp has used two important technologies: magnetic levitation and remote fluorescence technology

Magnetic levitation

Using the power of the magnetic material, the permanent magnet containing the electromagnetic induction coil is suspended. The lampshade at the top of the LUNALUXX lamp contains an electromagnetic induction coil, and a permanent magnet is mounted on the middle of the flying saucer. The electric current passes through the electromagnetic induction coil of the lampshade, controlled by a special switch, and measures and changes the current at the speed of 1000 times a second, then the current will affect the attraction of the permanent magnet in the flying saucer, so that the flying saucer is suspended in the air.

Distant fluorescence technique

In general, there are two ways to make LED make white light, and phosphor is the most important component of one of these. The LUNALUXX lamp's suspended flying saucer is filled with phosphor, and the LED tube in the base launches a blue light, absorbed by the phosphor in the flying saucer, and sends out white lights in all directions again. And this "remote fluorescent technology" technology, the team has applied for a patent. (the blue light in the picture is intended for a more intuitive expression, which is actually invisible in reality).

LUNALUXX uses only one blue LED lamp and very energy-efficient fluorescent powder, and its power consumption is much less than that of the ordinary desktop lamp. The power consumption is only 4 watts, the brightness is equivalent to the 15-20 - watt incandescent lamp, but the light is soft and no eye. It is suitable for reading, playing the mobile phone or using the night light.
