Ultra thin design is the cause - edge emitting LED backlight with the increasing number of LCD TV

Of course, the major companies are emphasizing the design of their products, environmental protection and high quality. However, the focus is different. It can be said that the European Holland Royal PHILPS Electronics (Royal Philips ELectronics) is the focus in the field of environmental protection, the Japanese manufacturer SHARP will focus on high quality, while South Korean manufacturers will focus on the use of the advantages of the ultra-thin design. Recently, SONY and Toshiba have both announced that it will put more emphasis on the design of the market for new models.

LCD TV prices continued to decline, the gradual commercialization of severe market environment, equipped with LED backlight is designed to maximize the premium. Recently in China, local brands have also been equipped with LED backlight. The reason is that by equipped with LED backlight, can give consumers the impression of high quality (Premium Image), can sell a slightly higher price.

2013 LED backlight equipped with a rate of more than 60%, straight down will gradually increase

We have published a "survey of global TV supply quarterly Expanded Edition (TV data & IC LED equipped with speed drive equipped with backlight LCD TV Data Collection Edition)".
