Vishay release new SMD Blu ray LED, to provide low-cost lighting

The day before, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. based on Lan Baoshi (sapphire) announced the launch of the new series of high intensity blue SMD LED, these devices to be lower than the standard InGaN Blu ray LED InGaN technology provides efficient price.

Provides low-cost lighting the VLMB41XX series of six new SMD LED for numerous applications, including car dashboard backlight and switch; indicator lamp and backlight telecommunications systems, audio and video equipment and office equipment; LCD, switch and general signs of planar backlight.

These devices have a strength of 60 degrees and a half angle, ranging from 45mcd to 112mcd high light intensity as well as up to 2kV of the ESD value, in line with the JESD22-A114-B specification. The new series of devices using EIA and ICE standard PLCC-2 package, the package is embedded in the white plastic lead frame, the interior of the reflective layer filled with epoxy resin.

According to the JEDEC LevEL 2A standard pretreatment of PLCC-2 package lead free (Pb), and comply with the RoHS specification. The CECC compatibility with infrared, gas and wave soldering processes simplifies the process. In order to realize the automatic component insertion, the PLCC-2 package adopts DIN IEC 40 (CO) in the form of anti-static 8mm plastic tape.

At present, VLMB41XX high strength SMD LED samples and production volume can be provided, bulk orders supply cycle for 5 weeks.
