According to Xiaoxiang Morning News, on the afternoon of March 18th, a fire broke out on the upper floor of the Red Star building materials trading center in Changsha, and smoke filled. After hearing the news, neighbors formed a temporary fire brigade, tearing up the advertising signs above the lamp shop and putting up scaffolding to put out the fire. Then the fire was extinguished by the firefighters who heard the news.

On the morning of March 19th, Yuhua fire brigade dispatched staff members to investigate the cause of the fire.

"Yesterday (18) afternoon, when there was a smoke in the interlayer, someone in the shop found it and immediately informed the boss." Mr. Xia, who was on the opposite side of the fire shop opposite the TCL lighting, said many neighbors were involved in the fire. He also offered 3 fire extinguishers to help.

"Someone stood on the scaffold and put out the fire extinguisher from below." Mr. Xia said. About 10 minutes later, the firemen rushed over, about half an hour, and the fire was completely put out. Because of the timely fire extinguishment, besides the signs near the fire front, the fire did not bring disaster to other residents.
