Where do you look at what it takes to develop the headlights of the "eyeball" car

Opel, the European subsidiary, is developing a new technology, the human eye with the headlight lighting technology. It uses the internal infrared scanner to monitor the direction of the eye of the driver in real time and transform the corresponding electrical signal to control the angle of the headlight. In this way, the lighting effect of "see and shine" is realized.

According to the general engineer, the monitoring sensor of the system is a set of infrared and photodiodes, which can be repeatedly scanned by the driver's eyeball at 50 times per second. At the same time, the lights also adjust the horizontal and vertical positions to ensure that the driver sees anywhere.

Volvo fatigue monitoring system

In fact, this new technology is derived from the fatigue monitoring system. The system will analyze the direction of the lights according to your speed, location and traffic, and the eye tracking technology will identify the direction of the driver's eye movement, and then the light is adjusted in this direction. But GM did not give the exact measure time for the technology, only to show that they had carried out a real car test on the Opel.

In addition, Opel's engineers are planning to launch a new matrix LED headlight in the near future.
