Where do you see where it is the general R & D eye car headlights

BITAUTO Vtion, GM group revealed that its European subsidiary, Opel is developing a new technology, human servo headlights lighting technology. The utility model uses the infrared scanner in the vehicle to monitor the observation direction of the driver's eyes in real time, and the corresponding electrical signals are converted to control the irradiation angle of the headlight. In this way, we can achieve the "see what is bright" lighting effect.

According to the general engineer, the system is a set of infrared sensors and photodiodes, according to the frequency of 50 times per second to repeatedly scan the driver's eye. At the same time, the lights will also adjust the horizontal and vertical position, to ensure that the driver to see anywhere.

In fact, this new technology is derived from the fatigue monitoring system. The system will be based on your driving speed, geographical location and traffic conditions to analyze the direction of the car lights, and eye tracking technology will identify the driver eye movement direction, and then make adjustments in accordance with the direction of the car lights. However, GM did not give the exact production time of the technology, only to show that they have launched a real vehicle test on Opel.

In addition, Opel engineers are planning to launch a new matrix LED headlamps in the near future.
