Wide Peng Technology launched LED backlight driver IC A723

Wide Peng Technology (ADDtek Corp.) launched 80 LED, the efficiency of up to 93% of the channel, the constant current LED backlight driver IC - A723. 4.5V to 25V wide input voltage range, with a variety of power supply driven 18 ~ 80 LED uniform brightness. The same series of products - six channel A706 and the three channel A707, has been widely used in Korea and Taiwan in Netbook PC and Notebook PC backlight drive on the LED. A723 is focused on the larger size Notebook PC with Monitor backlight applications LED.

Guangpeng technology A706/A707/A723 series is composed of a built-in high-voltage switch boost driver core and multi-channel constant current source, and the voltage feedback mechanism to drive the IC to work at the best efficiency model, not only can make up for the LED forward voltage (VF) difference, more due to the LED forward voltage following temperature change, real-time adjustment of the output voltage, to drive the IC maintained at high efficiency. Design of constant current source multi channel current size set by users with an external resistor, the current in each LED string, eliminate the brightness difference between LED series, is a can provide extremely uniform brightness backlight solution. The series IC can use pulse width modulation (PWM) mode dimming, dimming frequency in the range of 100Hz ~ 25KHz, can provide a good linearity, but also can reach more than 256 orders of dimming.
