Wuhan 3 years to install the 36 thousand LED lights

Yesterday, the Wuhan municipal government executive meeting adopted the principle of "Wuhan city" ten city lights "semiconductor lighting engineering pilot program".

LED means light-emitting diodes, semiconductor lighting is used as a new light source light emitting diode. Semiconductor lighting has long life, energy saving, safety and other advantages, the same brightness, power consumption is only 1/10 of ordinary incandescent lamp, life can be extended by up to 100 times. Some experts said that in 2010, if the country has been replaced by a 1/3 incandescent lamp, the annual energy saving of nearly 100 billion degrees, equivalent to a Three Gorges power generation.

LED semiconductor lamp is not only energy-saving, it will also make Wuhan has a size of LED industry is booming. Wuhan expects that the future will become the central and domestic LED industry core gathering area.
