2010 broadband laser /LED hardware shipments reached 44350 units

According to a research report from market research firm InfoTrends released the latest global wide, /LED laser printer, copier and multifunctional system of the current size of the market to more than $2 billion. The market includes hardware, ink cartridges, media and service contracts. Due to the printing products using inkjet printer and transfer to the low-end users for color printing, in order to achieve a faster cycle time by electronic processing, although this kind of product shipments increased, but sales income is on the decline.

InfoTrends predicts that in 2010 the world wide laser /LED hardware shipments from 42480 units in 2005 to grow to 44350 units. Low-end products are expected to drive this market growth, accounting for 61% of total shipments. Low end products in 2010 shipments will reach 28500 units, the compound annual growth rate of 2%.

Analysts said that during the forecast period, the new low-end products will all be transferred from analog to digital products. By 2008, digital products will all replace analog products. Xerox, Oce (Oc) and Ricoh company launched the latest digital products will have a higher value than the previous product sales, lower prices, higher speed and quality, smaller volume, fabrication of the file users more attractive.
