3 billion, create a dream factory of Chinese lantern! Zigong signed 5 lighting projects

In November 10th, Zigong, Sichuan, held the signing ceremony of the investment promotion and signing ceremony of the lighting industry park in Shenzhen, China. It signed 5 projects, namely, China lantern dream factory, Southwest China international lighting wholesale trading center, LED and jewellery lamp production, middle and high-end lighting production and photovoltaic glass production. The total investment in lighting trade, lighting production and so on is 5 billion 800 million yuan.

The project of China lantern dream factory occupies 1000 mu, with an investment of 3 billion yuan. It will build five major sections, namely, the lantern R & D design center, the standardized environmental protection manufacturing workshop, the logistics center, the lantern (product) exhibition area and the visitor center, and to introduce and integrate the existing lantern enterprises in Zigong city. After the completion of the project in 2020, it is expected to provide 30 thousand jobs to enhance the modernization level and core competitiveness of Zigong lantern industry.

Zigong has a solid foundation for developing lighting industry. Zigong has more than 800 years of lantern culture. Zigong Lantern Festival has been exhibited in more than 60 countries and regions and more than 500 large and medium-sized cities in China. At present, the lantern industry in Zigong is developing rapidly. There are more than 600 lanterns in the city, employing nearly 100 thousand people, with an annual output value exceeding 2 billion yuan. In April this year, Zigong also invested in the construction of a lighting and lighting industrial park with a total planning area of 3 square kilometers, and strive to build three years into post production, with an annual output value of more than 20 billion yuan.
