All replace into LED, Dezhou and Pennsylvania town push LED street light program

In the city of Wichita Fowles, north of Dezhou, there are still more than 5700 lamps, metal halides and mercury lamps. In order to replace all the bulbs with LED lights, the local government plans to work with the renewable energy company Ameresco to switch the lights to LED.

At present, there are about 2490 LED street lights in the city of Fowles, the government is planning to switch all of the remaining street lights to LED, which is expected to cost about $2 million 880 thousand, and Ameresco will use LED bulbs provided by Cooper Lighting for up to 20 years. Ameresco indicates that after the replacement is completed, it will save 2 million 850 thousand kilowatt hours of electricity for the city of Wichita Fowles every year.

In addition to the city of Fowles, the NLC also assembled 35 towns in southeastern Pennsylvania, with a joint contribution of $13 million to switch public lighting to LED lights. The governments involved in the project will save $1 million 400 thousand annually on the energy budget as a result of capital purchase and lower energy consumption.

The city of Lance and Dyer was also involved in the fund raising plan. The original city government was limited to budgetary deficiencies and had been replaced with LED bulbs in the past few years when the light bulb was damaged, but after participating in the plan, it was expected to install 2600 sets of LED lighting equipment for only $one million.
