Amdocs will be about $275 million in cash to acquire Qpass

Recently, software and services provider Amdocs (NYSE:DOX), announced the signing of an agreement to acquire Qpass, a leading provider of digital business software and solutions. Agreement, Amdocs will be about $275 million in cash to acquire Qpass. The success of this acquisition marks the Amdocs users can be delivered through a variety of devices and different modes of access to digital products, so as to get more revenue sources.

Qpass has a unique business model that includes products, services and business consulting. It is a bridge between content providers and service providers and trusted advisors. Qpass helps customers decide how to provide, manage, charge, and implement content products and services, and play an important role in promoting the product value chain and monetization of digital content.

"Service providers are trying to adjust their business models to adapt to the network and the growth of the content and services market, Amdocs Management Co. CEO Dov Baharav said," this transaction creates a unique union, help service providers to realize the transformation of the dynamic propagation from voice and data services to operators integration of services and data content of the omnipresent."

Amdocs is currently working with 150 of the world's leading service providers, including broadband cable, satellite, fixed access and wireless service providers to help them develop closer and more profitable customer relationships. Qpass operates on a global scale with a number of large operators, including Cingular, Sprint and T-Mobile.

Terms of the acquisition agreement, Amdocs will be about $275 million in cash to acquire Qpass. Qpass is headquartered in Seattle, Washington, with offices in London and Vienna. Completion of the acquisition is subject to approval procedures and compliance with other customary conditions and is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of June 30, 2006. The transaction is expected to result in fiscal year 2006 included in the acquisition of related expenses before the earnings per share decreased by $0.01 to $0.02, is expected to boost earnings per share growth in fiscal year 2007. Amdocs may be due to the acquisition of the end of the third quarter of June 30, 2006, a one-time expenditure list.
