American lighting manufacturers GE intends to build LED base in Chongqing

America GE intends to Chongqing Dachang lighting enterprises jointly set up a joint venture company in Chongqing, the layout of semiconductor lighting application products production base and R & D center.

GE will organize a special team in mid August 2010 in Chongqing city to determine the investment plans and methods. After the joint venture finalized, GE said it would sell the "made in Chongqing" LED products in the world.

Chongqing city plans to promote the Chongqing electric company, Chongqing Four Star electronics manufacturing, Chongqing Sharon technology 3 companies to cooperate with GE in the capital, brand and market channels etc..
