The LED factory will raise Taigu high brightness blue at 5~10% in Q3

For sapphire substrate and metal organic gas prices, LED epitaxial Taiwan factory Taigu (3339) will raise high brightness blue LED product prices from 2010 Q3, price increases of about 5~10%.

Taigu continued to add new capacity, Taigu chairman assistant Liu Sanbao pointed out that the current MOCVD new machine mainly installed in Nantou three factory, June production machine units, 38 units, 43 units are expected to by the end of September, MOCVD will add production capacity to 46 units.

Taigu Q3 Liu Sanbao pointed out that the full hand orders, the current production capacity of 60 thousand, estimated by the end of the year there will be 80 thousand pieces. The blue chip brightness up to 2000~2300mcd, has been able to meet the high demand of LED TV.

Liu Sanbao also pointed out that the expected five plant will be completed in 2011 Q1.
