Annwa hi tech and OSRAM sign patent licensing agreement

In March 14, 2006, Beijing - Avago Technologies Chinese (Annwa Tech) and OSRAM Opto Semiconductors Limited (Osram Opto Semiconductors GmbH) today announced that they have signed a patent cross licensing agreement co.. Under the agreement, OSRAM will be awarded Avago Technologies (Annwa) patent license for the manufacture and sale of white LED and LED package with special surface conversion technology, and Avago Technologies (Annwa high-tech) will also be awarded the patent license in the OSRAM projector and tablet LCD applications of LED system.

LED conversion technology can use InGaN (indium gallium nitride) blue chip and a matching fluorescent converter to produce white LED, and its implementation of the compact surface packaging can simplify the process of industrial production. OSRAM has a number of patents in the field of surface assembling package and LED package, and has been Nichia (Nichia), Rom (Rohm), Everlight Electronics (Everlight), (Lite On) technology, Stanley electric (Stanley), Acer Technology (Harvatek), ya (Ya Shin), a new electronic Xu Wei (Vishay), Samsung motor (Samsung Electro Mechanics) and Lednium company signed a license agreement to allow the company to use its patent.
