Recently, the 863 project undertaken by the Nanjing Agricultural University, new materials in the field of "semiconductor lighting project" major projects "semiconductor lighting source in plant tissue culture in the applied research in plant special LED light source system development progress, for the first time in China successfully developed for flexible LED light source system of Plant Biology, 863 experiment and research has been successfully used to undertake the research group.
The system is mainly composed of LED, plug-in universal substrate and drive and control unit, the main characteristics of different wavelength of LED can be inserted according to the experimental requirements in any combination and arrangement of the universal substrate, obtained the required light source of experimental design.
The research of photo biology, especially the research of plant photo biology, is a hot spot. The previous studies mainly rely on the fluorescent lamp and filter to obtain the required wavelength and optical density, which can not be accurately controlled, and can not set quantitative parameters according to the requirements. Nanjing Agricultural University developed the system to any quantitative regulation of optical density, optical wavelength (including wavelength combination), duty cycle (0-100%) and frequency (100-1000HZ), is the light of biological research and a powerful tool for ideal experimental equipment. The development of this system has filled the blank in this field, and it will be more widely used in the field of our country.
