Asia electromechanical relay suppliers targeting automotive applications market

Asian suppliers have increased electromechanical relays for automotive applications production efforts. The use of electronic devices in cars, especially in electric and hybrid electric vehicles, is being used more and more, which has prompted manufacturers to enhance the performance of their products. It is also a response to the increase in car production in Asia, especially in china.

The newly released relay products from Asian manufacturers have higher current, compact design and package, and can withstand higher operating temperatures. Fujitsu Corporation of Japan recently released a compact car model for the FTR-P6 relay, this device is the industry's smallest allegedly power relay, the size is 9 * 12 * 10.3mm, only sales of the company's best FTR-P3 type automobile relay 2/3.

Taiwan area of Taiwan Electronics Co., Ltd. launched the TR20 series five pin automotive relay size is only 12.9 * 12 * 9.9mm, rated current voltage of 20A and 14Vdc.

China's Ningbo Hua Guan Electronics Co., Ltd., the latest release of NG8N and NG8ND relays comply with IEC standards, with a wide range of current capacity and load voltage. The size of the NG8N is 14.3 x 7.5 x 13.8mm, while the NG8ND has a total of two integrated relays and parallel circuits, which can be achieved from six to four ports with a size of only 17.4 x 14 X.

Forward Ind. company (FIC) the surface loading conforms to the F specification for insulating grade UL coil relay requirements, can withstand the high temperature of 155 DEG C, while Fujitsu FTR-P6 allowed working temperature of 110 DEG C, another FBR-53 device allowed working temperature up to 125 DEG C. According to the existing standard, FIC company believes that the current rating of 30A for most high power equipment is enough, while the Universal Relays vehicle relays with rated current, higher up to 80A, while the current standard product is 40A.
