Austria Zumtobel acquisition of Italy LED company SpaceCannon

Austria lighting manufacturer ZumtobEL Group announced before the formal acquisition of Italy professional lighting company SpaceCannon LED.

SpaceCannon company annual sales of about 7 million euros, about 70% of SpaceCannon applications are based on LED. SpaceCannon will be part of the LED division of Zumtobel, a newly established LED technology company. SpaceCannon will provide Zumtobel company with sales channels and expertise to enter new markets.

The integration of SpaceCannon will enable the new LED company to enhance innovative LED products and solutions for new sales channels. At the same time, Thorn brand will absorb SpaceCannon's expertise.
