Avago for automotive and electronic signage applications launched high brightness white LED

Annwa (Avago Technologies) high-tech days ago announced the launch of a series of Mini White LED series products, especially suitable for automobile and electronic signage applications under harsh environmental conditions, is also very suitable for various kinds of household and office applications. Avago's ASMT-SWBM long life, high brightness surface mount (SMT) white light emitting diode (LED) is packaged in an ultra thin top mounted single chip unit. Its size is very small, can be placed at the same time in the size of a pencil eraser head space.

In the automotive field, ASMT-SWBM is mainly used for in car lighting, such as in car dashboard, HVAC and switch backlight. It is also very suitable for decorative lights, laminated lights and information signs, as well as office and industrial equipment, household appliances and indoor lighting applications.

In addition to high brightness, long life and small size and other features, Avago ASMT-SWBM also provides two advantages for manufacturers. It can be conveniently welded by traditional surface mount technology, minimizing the cost of production; and its packaging meets electronic components Engineering Association (JEDEC) the moisture sensitivity (MSL) 2A standard. For manufacturers, this level means that after being removed from a sealed package, ASMT-SWBM can be stored in open air (30 degrees C, 60% relative humidity) environment for up to four weeks, without the need to wet.

Its main features are: using InGaN film technology, high brightness; PLCC-4 package using industry standard and dense white color bin; stable performance consistent with the attenuation degree is reduced to the minimum; the MSL 2A workshop (floor life) a good life; compatible with infrared welding process and reflow soldering wave, helps to maximize to reduce the production cost; 120 degree ultra wide viewing angle; working temperature to +100 degrees below - 40 DEG C.
