Baihong in the first quarter of 08 to complete the SMD LED expansion

Baihong claimed that the plan in the first quarter of 2008 the company SMD LED month production capacity increased to 300 million, and 07 in the same period is only 250 million. At the same time, the company plans to 08 years of capital expenditure of NT $1 billion, which is more than doubled in the past two years, 500 million yuan, in order to expand the company's SMD and ultra bright LED product line.

Market observers estimate, Baihong will further enhance the SMD LED capacity by the end of 2008, monthly production capacity reached 400 million, mainly due to the increase of SMD LED China mobile phone with product orders. And because of the strong demand for consumer electronics applications, the company has also increased the monthly production capacity of ultra bright LED products, and plans to double the monthly output from 07 to 08 years in the second quarter to double the number of 260 million.
