Yesterday, the Beijing Municipal Industrial Promotion Bureau announced a total investment of $600 million 8 inch chip projects will start construction in Linhe Industrial Development Zone of Beijing City, this is the 12 inch chip production line in Beijing following the Shougang 6 inch chip production line and SMIC, third chip production line introduction.
