Billion optoelectronics buy fast LED and LED display product line

Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation (Fairchild Semiconductor) recently announced that its LED and LED display product line sold to the U.S. branch of Everlight electronics company International Everlight company, both sides agreed not to disclose the financial details of the sale, while Fairchild Semiconductor will retain its optical coupler and infrared line of products, and strengthen the research and development to promote the some business growth.

Under the terms of the sale agreement, Fairchild Semiconductor will continue to directly support LED and LED display products in a certain period of time, the customer sales operations to assist the completion of the transfer of the product line.

Fairchild Semiconductor said, our aim is to ensure that the sale of the product line, will not have any impact on our LED and LED display customers. Therefore, our sales team and customers, channel partners and photoelectron billion in close cooperation, order and customer service requirements together, until the product line, and the smooth transfer of photoelectron billion ready for these products over the daily sales operation, we expect this work will be completed in the first quarter. As a result of Fairchild Semiconductor LED products are OEM manufacturers, our customers can expect, after the completion of the product line transfer, the supply of products will remain coherent.

Fairchild Semiconductor also pointed out that after the sale of LED and display products business, we will continue to focus on strengthening the development of the core business. We will continue to focus on internal investment in the development of higher value simulation and system power optimization products.
