BridgeLux's new LED chip makes the display of mobile devices thinner

For the production of solid state lighting market supply of energy-saving light-emitting diode (LED) chip manufacturer BridgeLux today released a new BSV series of side emitting diode (side-view LED) chip product line. In addition to the BSV series of products, BridgeLux company for the backlight industry standard side lighting technology has brought the leading performance and cost-effective.

BridgeLux company's BSV series of light-emitting diode chips based on BridgeLux company patent (U.S. patent number 6869812) geometry elongated structure. The elongated chip can be made into a rectangle with a size of 10x18 and 10x23, which makes the display of the mobile phone, PDA, digital camera, MP3 player and notebook computer thinner. BSV series of blue chip combined with commercial phosphor can be made of white light-emitting diodes, typical luminous intensity is 1500mcd, can be used widely in the white light illumination backlight lighting application solutions. This chip is currently available only to select customers, mass production will be available by the end of 2006.
