China's e-government market size is expected to reach 47 billion 860 million yuan this year

Chinese authoritative survey of CCID Consulting released a report that in 2005 the scale of Chinese e-government market is expected to reach 47 billion 860 million yuan, growth of 16.3% in 2004.

CCID Consulting recently released report predicts that in the next few years, China's e-government market will maintain a steady growth rate, with the 11th Five-Year (2006-2010) planning implementation, the growth rate will be slightly improved.

The report said that in the next few years, in view of the market structure, the proportion of the amount of hardware procurement will continue to decline, the government performance requirements of the product will be increased; for information service with the increasing complexity of the proportion of expanding the scope of the building of information system and system maintenance, especially support and maintenance services, IT outsourcing demand the service will be more and more.

The report said that the development and utilization of information resources lag, information security is weak in the process of China's e-government construction of the two outstanding issues. The next few years, the construction of China's information system from the central to the local comprehensive promotion, municipal and county level information technology investment continues to increase.
