Cree high power LED light efficiency re innovation high

CREE company announced the day before, their experiments, high efficiency cold white LED products reached 129 lumens / watt, warm white reached 99 LM / W. This further reflects the leading position in the field of solid-state lighting Cree. Test results from the National Institute of standards and Technology (NIST) confirmed that the NIST test shows that the cold white (5813k) LED output luminous flux of 135.7 lumens, achieves the efficiency of 129 LM / W. Warm white (2950k) is the output of 104.2 lumens, up to 99 lumens / watt. The test current is 350m, which is tested only after 5 minutes of continuous lighting to ensure the thermal stability of the results.

In the next few years, the investment in LED core technology will replace the traditional incandescent light bulb in all commercial applications, users will be 12 to 24 months to see the commercial production of these products.

"In order to replace the traditional light source, the LED must be able to provide high brightness and efficiency," John Edmond, Cree co founder, senior director of photoelectric technology added, "Cree continues to break LED LED lighting efficiency bottleneck, mining potential, to maximize energy saving, and long life. "
