DELL provides 56000 PC to the defense department in the daily maximum order

Local time on Thursday, the world's largest computer maker DELL Japan branch announced, will provide about 56000 computers to the Japanese defense agency.

Although DELL Japan branch did not disclose the terms of the deal, but Japanese media, Kyodo News Agency reported, DELL Japan branch to the Japanese defense agency sales of computer trading value of about 4 billion yen ($34 million).

DELL said in a statement, DELL and Japan's local partner Uniadex company will provide to Japan's land, sea and Air Self-Defense Force more than 32000 models for the Optiplex desktop and 24000 types of notebook computer Inspiron before the end of September this year, the desktop is equipped with 15 inches display. The order also includes software, maintenance and other services, which is the largest order of DELL Japan branch.

In February this year, DELL and Uniadex announced plans to provide network, security systems, information consulting and maintenance services to their customers.

DELL said in a statement, the Japanese defense agency to buy DELL computer's goal is to improve the protection of confidential information, reduce the cost of purchase and reduce operating costs.
