Development of road lighting market (two)

Review: in recent years, China's LED street market penetration (installation) in the continuous improvement, in 2011 more than 7% in 2012 reached 11%, in 2013 the market penetration of LED street lamp is about, the market size of about $14 billion. According to preliminary estimates, by 2015 China's LED street lamp market size of about 23 billion yuan, at that time, China's overall market penetration of LED road lighting products will be more than 45%, a huge market space.

2, energy-saving effect is remarkable

According to the latest report of the China Federation of electric power enterprises in 2013, in 2013 the total electricity consumption of 5 trillion and 320 billion kwh, an increase of 7.5%. According to the survey conducted by the China Illuminating Engineering Society and the people's Republic of China, in 2013, 13.6% of the total electricity consumption of the whole society was accounted for by lighting electricity, of which about 29% of the total electricity consumption of the whole society was used for road lighting (as shown in Figure 3).

According to industry research, in 2013 the overall effect of LED road lighting products more than 100lm/W, is expected in 2015 the overall light effect will exceed 130lm/W. At present, compared with high pressure sodium lamps, the use of LED road lighting products can save more than 40%.

According to estimates, the current global number of street lamps installed about 200 million, if the 30% street LED street lamp, LED Street global annual electricity will exceed 22 billion degrees; and 50% for the LED street lamp, the annual consumption will exceed 38 billion degrees; when replace all, 100% LED lamps, the annual electricity will be more than 84 billion degrees. At present, Chinese lamp installation number about 33 million light, if 50% LED street, LED street Chinese festival consumption will exceed 6 billion degrees; when the 100% replacement for LED lamps, the annual electricity will be more than 14 billion degrees.
