Akari-Lisa Ishii: as far as I am concerned, the formation of my design concept does not depend on the so-called "art inspiration" or "by the feeling". The formation of my design concept will be based on the relevant aspects of the project, such as the historical background, geographical location, and the surrounding environment of the project, some specific survey reports, etc.. Whenever I introduce my design ideas to other teams and clients of the project, I have a compelling reason to do so. As long as all the people involved in the design of the direction of the project, the project will become more smooth and effective.

Akari-Lisa Ishii: light is a general experience; light expresses emotion; light creates an atmosphere; light can make people quiet, contemplative and relaxed, but also can make people recover, revive and cheer. It can be monotonous, mysterious, crazy, even sociable, fun, charming, just like people. Light is the real creator of space and its properties. Thanks to innovative technology, so that we can enjoy all kinds of comfortable and personalized artificial light in any space. And the expression of all kinds of light, like in the language to tell a particular story".

Akari-Lisa Ishii: the Japanese are very sensitive to white, a very obvious example is "building". You will find that most contemporary Japanese architecture uses a white structure.
