Elete double boost type DC/DC converter can drive 10 white LED

The day before the launch of Corporation double boost type DC/DC converter LT3466-1, it is a white LED driver and boost converter with flat 3mm x 3mm DFN package.

The LED driver channel of the converter can be input from a single lithium ion battery and drive up to 10 white LED with an efficiency of up to 83%. The boost converter can generate TFT-LCD bias voltage or drive a OLED display. Each channel has independent dimming and shutdown control. The device integrates a Schottky diode, saving the cost of increasing the cost of using an external diode and the required board space. The 3mm x 3mm DFN package and tiny external components can provide solutions for an extremely compact footprint for handheld applications with limited space.

The switching frequency of the LT3466-1 can be set by a single resistor in the range of 200kHz to 2MHz, so that the designer can maximize the solution to reduce the area and improve the efficiency of the board. Constant switching frequency to minimize noise, greatly reducing the potential interference on board RF or noise sensitive circuits. Its 2.7V to 24V input voltage range allows it to be used for a variety of applications ranging from lithium-ion battery powered handheld products to automotive backlighting. LED drives and boost converters have both over voltage protection and internal soft start.
