Corporation launched a fractional charge pump current white LED driver LTC3215, which can provide the LED current up to 700mA. By monitoring the LED voltage across the current source, the high efficiency multi mode architecture can automatically switch between 1x and 1.5x or 2x mode, and detected only in the ILED differential pressure to mode switching, so that LTC3215 can greatly improve the efficiency of the working voltage of the lithium ion battery range (up to 92%). The 900kHz switching frequency and a few external components (number two is connected across the capacitor, resistor and two programming between VIN and CPO two bypass capacitors) to LTC3215 solution to form area is a small and very economical, very suitable for camera phones and other portable lighting products in the video and flash applications.

LTC3215 with built-in soft start circuit prevents excessive inrush current during start-up. When the input voltage is close to the LED forward voltage, the ultra low dropout current source maintains an accurate LED current. LTC3215 features a flat (0.75mm) 3mm 3mm 10 lead DFN package in X.
