European Union countries lighting new electromagnetic radiation requirements

Standard requirements for electromagnetic assessment of lighting equipment including:

1 all indoor and outdoor lighting equipment for the purpose of lighting, with the basic functions of the generation and distribution of light, and intended to be connected to a low-voltage power supply network or to work with batteries.

2 general lighting means all industrial, residential, public and street lighting equipment.

One of the 3 main functions is the lighting of the multi-function equipment.

In order to reduce the impact of electromagnetic fields on the human body, the European Union issued the relevant standards for the assessment of electromagnetic radiation of the human body by the lighting equipment EN62493:2010.
