Fujian: this year, the province's public facilities to promote LED products

Reporter yesterday from the Provincial Information Industry Department was informed that from 2007 to 2010, the province will focus on Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, radiation Fuzhou, Longyan, to Putian, Ningde and Sanming, Nanping and other regions, the formation of the west coast of the Strait of semiconductor lighting engineering industrialization base.

To 2010 according to our province planning, the province will build a national LED and photovoltaic products integrated demonstration base, the province at the forefront of the domestic LED industry overall scale, expected annual sales reached 30 billion yuan, of which exports reached $1 billion 500 million.

According to the layout, Xiamen will create the LED wafer, wafer manufacturing center, focus on fostering the growth of upstream enterprises, LED package in Xiamen, Fuzhou as the focal point, relying on the backbone of the enterprise, improve the technology level of the province's packaging technology driven; LED application product development from Xiamen to Fuzhou, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou and Longyan to build strong competitive LED application products production base.

In our province will promote the application of new products in public places and in the society, the increase of public service expenditure required for part of the cost, governments at all levels should be supported. Construction, transportation, public security, traffic police and other departments to vigorously promote the application of LED and photovoltaic products in public buildings, roads, traffic lights and other public infrastructure, the construction of the demonstration project, to enhance public awareness of LED and photovoltaic products sensibility. Encourage and support the LED production enterprises to undertake the highway, tunnel lighting engineering, urban landscape engineering and other public service photo works.
