GE lighting accused of infringement of its patent LED lighting was rejected by the U.S. Court

Recently, the lighting science group (Lighting Science, Group Corporation, LSG) announced that the court in the Northern District of Ohio United States LSG granted summary judgment motion, and read some of the patent GE lighting company is invalid, but rejected GE LSG's patent infringement claim for lighting. This procedure, 6 LED GE lighting manufacturers including LSG, accused of infringement of its two LED patents, respectively, U.S. Patent No. 6787999, called the "LED modular light source products and patent, U.S. Patent No. 6799864, called for high power LED lamp module group patent". LSG chief executive officer Ed Bednarcik said: we are very pleased that the court made such a decision, which is consistent with our position that our products did not infringe the patent GE lighting. The company has more than 300 patents, we will continue to use their patent portfolios against unwarranted infringement claims, and provide more innovative lighting products for customers."
