GE made use of flexible OLED lighting Christmas tree

American General Electric (GE) OLED research team announced that the company's research department - GE Global Research Center (GE Global Research) produced a successful use of OLED lighting Christmas tree.

The base of the Christmas tree is surrounded by a 6 inch (15.2cm) * long (457.2cm) flexible lighting OLED element. The OLED component used in the lighting was produced by volume to volume printing technology, which was developed by researchers at GE in early 2008. The company has been able to carry out the production of low-cost production volume of the coil manufacturing process, "in the field of organic EL lighting business far ahead".

GE company OLED development project leader Anil Duggal said: "I hope to stimulate people's imagination through the Christmas tree, to show the possibility of a new generation of lighting".
