German OSRAM has supplied samples 1000lm white LED

Germany OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (osramoptosemiconductorsgmbh) the latest version to the global market including Japan, sales of the 1 package can emit 1000lm luminous flux of the white LED "ostarlighting". When using the product, only 1 white LED, you can have the same brightness as the 50W halogen lamp (Figure 1). The product can be used for many purposes, such as lighting appliances. The white LED was published in February 2007 (see site report).

Input power is 27W (current 700mA), can be obtained 1000lm luminous flux, luminous efficiency at this time is about 37lm/w. When the working current is reduced to 350mA, the luminous efficiency can be increased to 75lm/w. In the past, the luminous flux of ostarlighting is about 27W when the input power is 600lm.

Ostarlighting is equipped with 6 1mm square size blue chip in the LED package, each chip surface are coated with yellow fluorescent material (Figure 2). The structure is the same as the original product, but the light output efficiency is improved by changing the electrode structure of the blue LED chip. Integrated blue LED chip package is also the same as the original product.
