If the luminous efficiency of LED reached 100lm/W, and the price is now reduced to half, in the case of traditional light source light effect at the same time, the total power is 3976 watts LED lamp, to achieve the same lighting effect, the total power of 31570 watts of traditional light source. Problems and overcoming
Despite the high power LED to replace the incandescent light source has shown obvious advantages of energy saving and long life, the efficiency compared with the traditional lamp efficiency LED lamp has been significantly improved, but compared with fluorescent lamps, energy-saving lamps, its energy-saving effect is not very obvious. Of course, the white light LED lamps in the face of the traditional lighting in the field of general lighting competition is the biggest problem or the initial purchase cost is higher, affecting the promotion of the market.
But the semiconductor lighting technology progress is rapid, the luminous efficiency of white LED has reached 60lm/W, while the NICHIA is a white LED claimed that by the end of 06 will be mass production of 100lm/W, T5 fluorescent lamp and the good performance of this data can be comparable, and before that, people expect the target code to achieve it in 2008.
