Hitachi will build a new LCD and plasma panel factory scheduled 08 years of production

According to Japanese Economic News reported on Tuesday, Hitachi plans to build a liquid crystal display (LCD) and plasma panel factory, in order to enhance the panel business.

Reported that the company will begin later this year, with the group IPS Alpha Technology to build a new LCD panel plant, annual production capacity of 100-200 million, is scheduled to be put into operation in early 2008.

The report said that Hitachi also plans, through a joint venture with Fujitsu to build a new plasma panel factory. The new plant is scheduled to be put into operation in 2008.

Hitachi spokeswoman said the current increase panel production in the discussion, but have not yet decided.
