In 2010 second quarter revenue increase TSMC higher than expected

According to Taiwan's TSMC (TSMC) released financial data show that in the second quarter of 2010, the company consolidated revenues of approximately $104 billion 960 million NT ($3 billion 270 million), higher than its target value of NT $1000-1020 billion.

June, TSMC's consolidated sales of NT $36 billion 330 million, a record high for the three consecutive month. The figure shows that, compared with 26 billion 515 million yuan in June 2009, an increase of NT $37%, which means that the company is continuing to recover.

2010 1-6 months, TSMC consolidated revenue of NT $197 billion 150 million, an increase of 73.4%.

TSMC will hold an investor conference in June 29th, recalling its second quarter results, and guidance for the third quarter.
