Infineon (North America) president resigns new leadership has been established

Wednesday local time, Infineon Technologies Company announced that Infineon America CEO Robert LeFort resigned in company restructuring in. LeFort will leave the company in March the 31st, as a leader in a new technology company.

Infineon Technologies also announced the implementation of a new executive director of Infineon Technologies inc.. The new board consists of three senior executive directors who will be responsible for the different business teams and operations.

The new executive directors include Christopher Cook, Jean-Baptiste Loire and Klaus Gohlke. Cook is a vice president of Infineon Technologies, automotive, industrial and diversified business operations, and served as general manager of the same team. Loire is vice president of sales in North America, and serves as general manager of corporate solutions business team. Gohlke is the chief financial officer of North American subsidiary of Infineon Technologies, Inc., as the general manager of the company's core operations.

The new board of directors institutions reflect their new corporate technology management organization, the chief executive officer of Wolfgang Ziebart, Infineon Technologies AG, said in a statement: "the executive director of the new company to further strengthen the customer interest and business alliance. And will remain a highly efficient core leadership."

Last year, Infineon Technologies Company confirmed plans in 2006 July through the public offering (IPO) will fold its storage business, the company will focus on the logical sector, goal is to continue to promote the development of automobile industry, electronic and communications department. Infineon Technologies said it would split its storage operations in July 1st, and the chief executive recently said that the IPO was one of the most attractive solutions. But there is no final decision last week, the company said that this position has not changed.
