Japan's 3G mobile phone shipments accounted for the proportion of the first super 90%

According to the latest issue of "Nikkei weekly" reported that in June this year, Japan's 3G mobile phone shipments accounted for the proportion of domestic mobile phone shipments for the first time in more than 90%.

The newspaper quoted the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industry Association, said in June this year, Japan's 3G mobile phone shipments in the domestic mobile phone shipments accounted for 92.6%.

Japan mobile operator NTT DoCoMo introduced 3G mobile phone in 2001.
