Japan Enplas developed a new LED backlight light guide plate

Japan Enplas display equipment company (Enplas Display Device) recently developed at the same time a large and thin LED backlight light guide plate PSP-LGP (133W_LED), and held in the days before "FPD International 2005" on the reference display. The light guide plate achieves a 13.3 inch size and a thickness of 0.8mm. In the past the LED backlight light guide plate, the maximum is 11 inches, the thickness is about 1mm.

If we simply increase the light guide plate, the light of the LED light will produce attenuation in the conduction process of the light guide plate. In order to avoid this phenomenon, it is an effective way to increase the inclined plane of the light guide plate. But if the angle is too large, the thickness of the light guide plate will increase. This time, for 13.3 inches back light, the light guide light source side and the other side of the thickness were designed for 0.8mm and 0.6mm. Because it is difficult to form the shape of the resin injection molding, it is reported that through the mold structure, material and plastic process improvements. Scheduled for mass production in 2006.
