Jiangsu to promote energy-saving LED street OSRAM first machine

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (OSRAM Opto Semiconductors) announced that China's Jiangsu Province, a major thoroughfare has been installed using OSRAM Golden DRAGON LED street lamp.

The lighting project by the Jiangsu Huajing Optoelectronic Technology (Jiangsu Hua Jing Photoelectronics) is responsible for the construction, with 180W LED prototype street lamps to replace the traditional 250W HID street lamp. Jiangsu Huajing said after the test, the Golden DRAGON LED street lamp can reduce power consumption by 37%, and can improve the visibility of the night.

In Jingjiang, Fuyang Road, the newly installed 14 m Golden DRAGON LED street lamp is a test project of Jiangsu Huajing optoelectronic technology in Jingjiang. Now, about 8000 different types of street lamps are installed in the urban area of Jingjiang. At present, the Ministry of science and technology of China is vigorously promoting the use of energy-saving LED products to replace the traditional incandescent light source, and set a target to achieve energy saving 26 billion yuan by 2015.

To ensure the success of the city of Jingjiang to switch to the new LED lights, it requires the joint efforts of the government and local communities, and Jiang Suhua Jingzheng and the close cooperation.

OSRAM said, Golden DRAGON LED performance, life of up to 50 thousand hours, no matter what kind of color, can provide excellent lighting. The use of LED street lighting, because the maintenance cycle is longer, thereby reducing maintenance costs. Moreover, the LED can adjust the brightness of the ambient light according to the ambient light, which will further reduce the power consumption.
